Freddy Krueger's (Robert Englund) "Hero" Steel Bladed Glove
This is one of the gloves worn on screen by Robert Englund as Freddy Krueger. There is a "B" written inside the palm of the glove by property master Graham Coutts. The specific blade pattern can be matched to multiple scenes in the film. There are specific markings on, under, and inside the glove that shows 100% that it is screen-used. These are the full HERO costumes worn by Robert Englund and Ken Kirzinger throughout the film.
This is one of only two complete "hero" Freddy costumes in existance with a New Line COA, and the ONLY complete hero costume with New Line COA that has original stage tags, and all "#1 hero" pieces. This costume was worn for all of Robert Englund's close up shots until the sweater began to show "damage" from Jason's machete. Even then, it's possible that the pants, boots, and hat were still the main articles of clothing used throughout the remainder of the film as they are the only pieces that come with stage tags that read "#1 hero Freddy", and therefore would have been the main choices for Robert by "fit" and by "appearance".
This is one of only two complete "hero" Jason costumes in existance with a New Line COA, and the ONLY complete hero costume with New Line COA that has original stage tags that read #1 hero" on all the pieces. A 3rd complete costume (including the gloves) DOES exist that was used for stunts in my opinion, but it does not have the "hero" platform boots so it negates its possibility as truely "complete". It was sold with a pair of "stunt" boots. Ken Kirzinger can only be seen wearing the platform type boots throughout filming. This costume consists of the jacket, t-shirt, sweater, pants, boots, and now the gloves as well. All pieces are #1 hero pieces and were worn by Ken for all of his close-up shots as Jason.
Both pieces come with an offical New Line Cinema COA, and of all the costumes sold, these two costumes are the best, most complete examples of the two characters in existance, as they have the most desirable pieces (#1 hero pieces), they are 100% complete, they were not used for just one shot but multiple shots including publicity photos, and not only do they come with the original stage tags that read "#1 hero Freddy" and "#1 hero Jason", but these are often written inside the clothing as well. The banners come straight from New Line Cinema as well, and also are accompanied by an official New Line Cinema COA.
The Jason gloves are pictured separately below, as they were obtained separately from the costume from screen-used.com recently. The gloves were presented to Ken Kirzinger today (10/25/008), who confirmed that they fit him correctly, and were the correct style of glove for Jason. That's about as much as an actor could do as far as authenticity, but rest assured, these gloves come straight from the set! They have dried studio blood, and have an "H" written inside each glove, which most likely stands for "hero". The gloves come with an official COA from the prestigous screen-used.com.
Freddy's (Robert Englund) Metal fingerjoint and blade in custom display (SOLD)
This finger joint and blade come directly from one of the gloves worn by Robert Englund on screen. These were interchangeable with joints that had plastic blades attached for scenes where the glove was in close contact with the actors. This blade is one of the metal ones used for close-up shots. It has been custom shadow-boxed. Photos of the dispaly are difficult due to the glass and reflections. Everything here is in PERFECT condition.
Jason's (Ken Kirzinger) Gloves
These gloves were worn on screen by Ken Kirzinger as "Jason". These are the most difficult part of Jason's costume to find, as these are only the 3rd pair to surface. An "H" is written inside each glove, which probably stands for "hero", as there is no actor or stunt man for the part of Jason with an "H" as part of their first or last name.
